On May 17, 2026, Ai Danishi and Ryoji Nagahara won Red Bull Basement Japan Final 2026 with Lu-MoS at STATION Ai in Nagoya. Ten teams reached the national final from 3,020 Japanese entries. The win secured their place as Japan's representatives at the June 1–3 World Final in San Francisco.
Red Bull Basement is a global program that helps students and first-time founders turn ideas into products through mentoring and AI tools.
Lu-MoS (Lunar Mobility Operating System) proposes a lunar rover platform combining common hardware standards with AI simulation. It aims to help developers take their equipment to the Moon while reducing the need to build a dedicated rover from scratch.
